April 10th, 2010 | Category: Uncategorized

It’s been a while since the last post and i am sorry for the lack of updates for the past months, things have been very hectic here with real life issues and i was not able to update the site as much as i did before.

With that in mind, i decided its time to come back and to post important news as much as i can, and bring back the site to be informative as it was before.

Unfortunatly, due to lack of activity i had to shut down the Empire of Kasabian forum, but there is plans to open a facebook group soon and i will keep you updated on that.

Hope you will enjoy also the new website design, there are still few things in the works here and soon it will be complited.

Kasabian have kicked off thier UK arena tour last week , and showed us why they are called one of the best British bands around.
I have uploaded pictures from the Newcastle & Glasgow gigs, and in the next  few days will upload more from the Wembley arena gigs etc.

For those who can’t be there (like me), here is a little taste of the Kasabian magic. Videos are courtesy of  sniftiemacsnert

Guy Ritchie wishes to work with Kasabian

September 12th, 2009 | Category: Uncategorized

GUY RITCHIE has set his sights on rock lords KASABIAN to provide music for his next film.
The RocknRolla director has invited guitarist SERGE PIZZORNO to join him for a cheeky single malt to discuss the idea.
I bumped into the new GQ Film Director Of The Year at London’s trendy Groucho Club.

And Guy told me: “The Kasabian album West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum is the best thing I have heard this year. I’ve have been playing it non-stop.
“I’d love to meet up with the band. The music on the latest album is like a film soundtrack. He’s a talented bloke, Serge.”
When I first heard the Leicester lads’ third album earlier this year, songs such as Vlad The Impaler and Thick As Thieves stuck out immediately as ideal for a movie soundtrack. The band have a great back catalogue of videos for their hits.
The latest, for hit single Fire, had them robbing a bank using guitars as guns. Sounds like a match made in heaven.

It would be a dream come true for Serge, the band’s songwriter, who is a self-confessed film fanatic.
He is obsessed with STANLEY KUBRICK, director of 2001: A Space Odyssey, and pores over obscure films when Kasabian are on tour. Serge has always wanted to try his hand at writing movie scores and admitted the latest album was based around an imaginary movie.
He told me a few months ago: “I definitely would like to sit down and orchestrate a movie. Anything from an arthouse film, a really small-budget film, to a huge James Bond theme.”
He has grand ideas of his own too. He’d love to turn his home into a sleek new studio, but first has to persuade his missus to convert the building – a former town hall.
He said: “It’s a great building. I wouldn’t ever want to let it go, but one day I’m going to have it as a studio. It would be amazing.

I am back!!!!

September 12th, 2009 | Category: Uncategorized

Hello everyone!!!

I am back from Italy, after seeing Kasabian in the I-day festival in Milan, it was a great performance but also a bit bitter sweet as this festival was very close to cancellation due to Oasis split..
Needless to say that the news of Oasis, made me very sad and shocked as i am a very big fan of the band, and have been for many years, i am lucky i had a chance to see them live in Wembley in July. They have been a big influance to many bands as well to Kasabian and i really hope that in the future there will be a small sign of them getting back to preform together.

Now that i am back, i will be updating the gallery later today with many pics, doing a bit of catching up with everything news wise etc..
So stay tuned for many things to come. :)
